Freakbalang was surprisingly a lot darker than I gave it credit for. The story was excellent & really played on my heartstrings. For a Jam game, you had plenty to offer on top of a cool filo'centric premise.
Btw, if you are able to watch my video till the end, I was testing out a theory regarding the red lights that I don't think was correct - are you able to confirm the nature of the red lights by any chance?
Thanks so much for playing Freakbalang! You're also the first to showcase the gallery, which is appreciated.
For the red lights, you're meant to avoid them as they will decrease your white light points. If you've realized, there were subtle visual & audio hints that should've helped convey it. But it's an interesting thought though. What if collecting the red points have an outcome?
you're very welcome! I'm glad to have been the first to showcase the gallery - always a fan of included behind the scenes or conceptual content, so thank you too for making that a reward.
In regards to the red lights: Thank you for clarifying that, I don't think I was that perceptive that evening to catch those hints. But yes, an interesting idea isn't it? Like a secret ending that only those that can decipher would get.
Wow! Thanks for the video, really funny reaction at the death part. ๐ I've improved and added new stuff in the game and excited to share it by next year. Thanks again for trying out this version. ๐
Hi Rostiger, I was rewatching your playthrough and still makes me smile to see your reactions in the game. The "house of the rising sun" jest cracked me up! ๐ Well the game is now complete and would love to see your take on it again if your interested. Check it out anytime you like! Again, thanks and cheers! Peter ๐
Thank you for trying the game, I appreciate the gameplay video. Sadly some interesting content were cut due to the time constraint, but I'll definitely add them after the game jam.
