Pug's Coco Island v0.3 "Planting" Update!

Hi everyone,
🌴Pug's Coco Island🌴 is back with some progress in this version 0.3! I'll list down all the changes below:
- Main highlight of this update is the planting mechanic, where you take your dehusked coconut from the workstation area, and crouch by pressing "CTRL" on the keyboard or "Left Shoulder Button" on any gamepad to find a suitable location to plant the coconut.
- You can remove a coconut fruit's husk by interacting with the dehusking machine (which is the lime-colored object beside the workstation table.)
- Also by using the dehusking machine, it will yield two items; the dehusked coconut and the husk itself. You can convert the husk into husk paper, which is required for cocodrop production. Create them via the shredder machine, beside the dehusking machine.
Note: Cocodrop items cannot be created yet in this version. It will be added in the next update. - New feature: Weather! Each time you start the next day, there's a random chance that it will rain and simultaneously water your planted coconuts! Also the rainy weather can turn into a devastating storm, but for now I chose to hide it and lock it as it's not yet visually polished. But it's already in the game. If you manage to break the game and somehow summon it, it will ruin your plants. 😂
- Another new subtle feature is the eye blinking. I had some friends test version 0.2 and suggested it so it could bring more life to the game. Also the protagonist slightly turns his head randomly when being idle.
- Other changes are polishes to the build mechanic and the workstation, like the visual indicator for the previous build area when salvaging a structure. The build menu navigation has been improved. I also added requirement icons that prompts whenever you try to interact with the machines and don't have the resources yet.
- Interact bubble prompt now also swaps between two icons; the button icon, and the action it will do. Also it will now appear instantly whenever you find an interactable. Compared to before which has a slight delay, making it look like there's some input lag.
- I also removed the depth silhouette when the protagonist is behind objects. To me it's not visually appealing anymore and kind of breaks immersion a little bit. But I do believe it's important, so I might find an alternative that's less obtrusive and easy on the eyes.
I believe I've covered all of the changes. So what's next for me? I'll be joining a new game-jam that'll run for around a week and hopefully create a new and interesting title for this year. So until next time everyone! 👋😄
