Made for "Make-a-Level" Game Jam 2021 with the theme "Emergency."

The initial version "0.1" didn't have an elaborate fighting mechanic and there were barely any obstacles and enemies to fight. Now, a lot of improvement has been made over the course of roughly 4 months; has a new level layout, different platforming hazards, unique A.I. bots, and revamped combat.
I'm very happy with the current build so I hope you guys have a blast! 😄

Inspired by the gameplay and design of the following games:

All graphic assets were made from scratch, while sound effects have been reused from older projects. Both sound and music were free-to-use.

Finally found a time to record this game! Great demo from the earlier version I had! Here's to hoping for a full release!

Started my day watching your playthrough and seeing your progress and perseverance to finish was amazing!
You revealed some flaws the game has and also an objective bug as well (when you exited right away to avoid combat).
On one part of the vid, immediately I was like "YES!" when you had an epiphany during the boss fight.
(You stayed in the air by resetting attacks with the dash.)

For another Quick Tip: Dash has a short invulnerable time window.

But yeah, overall I enjoyed the video, commentary & of course the cool playthrough & strategy.
Thank you so much for taking interest in Gyzer Zero!
P.S. sorry about the flame throwers being invulnerable ðŸ˜‚ so I might need to reconsider that.

Hey man I'm glad you enjoyed the video! I tend to find bugs by accident while playing games so its pretty funny that you can find some issues you didn't before. I was determined to beating that demo and the flamethrowers were driving me insane but its okay but hey if you reconsidering it I'm 1000% supporting that! I hope it brings more traction your way and I'll be following the progress as well if you ever need a follow up video with new content!

Hey! We've been in the same game-jam! Really good game!

There's a lot of potential in this one. I'd love to see it continue on in the future! Also very polished for a jam game, which I really appreciate and wish I was better at doing, myself.
