Escort and defend the mystical tomato in her retrieval quest against junk-food villains in this top-down survival shooter.

Story

One quiet afternoon in the kitchen, a boy voraciously eating junk-food gets shrunken down by a cursed spell cast by a hateful mutated prawn cracker named “Kropek” who had used a stolen magical stem belonging to the plump and mystical Tomato. She then asks for the boy’s assistance to help save her veggie-napped children and retrieve the stem in order for her to reverse the boy’s curse, despite the waves of angry junk-food monsters sent to stop them.

Made for the 48-hour GMTK 2021 Game Jam with the theme "Joined Together".
The game is a mash-up of different game modes: wave survival, and escort payload. This is the first collaboration project of Polysplit Games with a team composed of friends and colleagues.

Design was inspired by games like:

• It Takes Two
• Little Nightmares

Most of the assets we used were pre-existing. Picked from some of our personal projects and tweaked to turn the project into a cohesive game. Other assets were bought from online sources to make the development faster. While the sound effects and the music were free-to-use.
